You're really going to say the offensive line played well against Wisconsin?

At no time did i say our oline played well all the time. I said our oline was DOMINATED in only 1 game.

They were getting eaten up in pass protection

Yeah because we had a qb with zero pocket awareness and the refusal to trust his read and throw the ball once his plant foot hit the ground in his drop. Did you see how much better our pass blocking got once Etling was the starter?

I can almost promise his numbers will be better than at lsu because he won't be playing in the most talent rich division in cfb history.

No, you said what I quoted you as saying. I'll do it again

The eyeballs test shows lsu's oline being very good in every game but one

They were awful against Wisconsin. Penalties, complete failures in protection, and whiffing blocks in the screen game.

And Harris's inabilities had little to do with the majority of their issues in that game. Feel free to go back and watch it. They played just as bad as he did. He wasn't the reason for presnap penalties and whiffing blocks

Nice read up to jog your memory

I've gotten in this exact argument with people multiple times. Very ignorant people.

All you have to do is look what he did with Mett in 1 year.

No fab, mistakenly thought he had sat out a year before coming to LSU. My bad.

Youre right. I shouldn't have said they were very good in all but 1 game.

This isn't just a lsu thing.

Ha ha. What? A qbs inability to do any maneuvering in the pocket had little to do with an oline' success?

No oline can hold up if your qb refuses to throw on time and refuses to move up in the pocket.
While I agree I shouldn't have said they played very good,we know by watching the rest of the year that our pass protection got a lot better under Etling.

Man, I was rooting for this kid.

I think most of us were rooting for him. He really had every opportunity to retain the starting job but simply didn't do it. When he lost it to the "Purdue transfer" it was over. I like Etling but he is no world beater.

Wish BH the best going forward but in life he needs to own up to his mistakes and faults if he is truly going to correct them and get better.

No prob. It doesn't excuse the fact that that's all we had after mett either way.

I just don't think Brandon handled the pressure well. I've pointed out that two of his better games were coming off the bench when the pressure was off.

So let's look at this. Cam Cameron, Les Miles, Ed Orgeron, Steve Emsinger and now Matt Canda chose Eitling over Harris.

And no, Harris had nothing to do with the presnap penalties, missing stunt assignments, and whiffing easy blocks.

Pass protection was shite against auburn too. In games Pocic played poorly, the rest of the line went with it (which tends to happen)

This happens with every single oline in cfb.

We ran for 220 and 6.9 ypc.
I readily admit our pass protection couldve been better in pass protection.

But as a whole our oline was clearly one of the best in cfb.

Cool. Can you point out where I've made any argument otherwise?

Can you point to where I've said that you think our oline wasnt one of the best? Are we not discussing the oline?
Just because I posted that our oline was one of the best in cfb doesnt mean i think you think they suck. You haven't even said anything remotely close to saying our oline was bad.
