Why would wade try to zone Alabama?

Because he doesn’t have a guard that can stop a ball handler off the dribble he is forced to play more zone.

They’re 5-9 and it’s crazy how much more polished they look than us simply bc of the way they commit to defense.

Kentucky is really long with some rim protection, so they can afford to get beat off the dribble a little bit.
I don't disagree with sticking to man, but that is the answer as to why Wade chose to work a switch zone and UK is playing a more pure man that is working. By the time we looked up against Bama, we were down so big it hardly mattered anyway.
