Is it hard to type with JJ's balls in your mouth? Lee came out of the Ole Miss game with a hurt ankle. JJ came in and lost that game as well as the Arkansas game. To be fair, the Ole Miss game had 0 to do with JJ as LSU was losing when he came in as a true freshman. We saw the JJ of 09 in the Arkansas game. 0 offense in the 2nd half leads to a loss. He really didn't do shite in the GT game either. The running game and incredible field position lead to the early lead. Then once again 0 offense in the 2nd half. I really don't understand the infatuation with him at all from some on here. To support him is one thing, but to act like he is clearly the best option just doesn't make sense to me.

Look at the 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 champions ..

What do they have in common?

Leak and tebow
Flynn and perrilloux
tebow and Harvin
mcelroy and Ingram

notice the trend here?
Dual qb's and/or wildcat players

shite, lsu even did it with lee and hatch until hatch got his bell rung and broke a leg against Georgia.

That's the offense that wins championships.

classy

so why didn't lee play in the bowl game if he was healthy? Or start in 2009?
Care to shed some light on this question?

JJ came in and lost that game as well

Jefferson plays defense now?
Weird, I thought he was a qb (or an athlete trying to be one)

Taking sack after sack after sack, 3 and outs after 3 and outs kinda wears out the defense. LSU had the worst offense in the state of Louisiana last year and JJ is your unquestioned #1?

ETA: Nevermind, Tulane was 110th. Woohoo, a few spots better than Tulane, but still behind ULL, ULM, and Tech.

Your reading comprehension is better than this horrible post.

How the frick am I supposed to answer that question? Am I Less Miles? Why don't you explain why you exalt him no matter how bad he plays while running down JL no matter what he does?

still can't answer it right?
Or is it you don't want to admit it?

And check my posts
I never once said jj was the savior or some elite qb. He's a qb that is low risk an takes care or the ball
lee scores points for his team and the other team

Charles Scott and Patrick Peterson coming out of the game blew the lead, not JL.

Scott and PP were still playing as well. JJ was 10/17/114/1. Not exactly like he put the team on his back and was lighting it up.

QBs who get the "athlete" label generally take off running too much at the first sign of trouble. Jordan tends to hold the ball too long, but is still ultimately trying to make a passing play. if anything, he's unrefined, not some QB impostor. I do question the extent to which he can be refined at times though.

Exactly. And because of this he doesn't trust himself and the recievers enough to rip one in there in tight coverage therefore he takes a sack. I wish he would go back and watch Lee's film from 08 because that was not why Lee threw so many picks and pick-6s it was the guys he didn't see in coverage, either underneath or the ones cutting across like Loston's.

Bottom line Jefferson needs to learn to trust himself and his WR (as well as work on his accuracy) if he wants to succeed this year.

And Lee needs to work on reading coverages to know that even if he can't see the defender underneath or cutting across due to the coverage the DB should be there. And in those circumstances you either throw it differently to make sure that guy can't make a play on it or you check down. Oh and every now and then throw in a pump fake to Tolliver in the flat and then have him run a go route because every time they try that throw out to the WR in the flat I hold my breath.

You said he was beating Bama like he was doing it by himself. The defense was winning that game by locking Bama down. Then PP cramped up and came out. As soon as he did Bama hit a big play to Julio and the game was over.

thanks for explaining that to me. i only watched the game a dozen times. much appreciated.

i understand there were many factors which decided that game (injurues, refs, etc.), but if JJ wouldve played the whole game, LSU wins.

Reading comprehension is a bitch. He is talking about the '08 Arkansas game compared to the '09 season as a whole for Jefferson.
