Because the LSU fanbase is passionate and defensive about their beloved program.

Our fans are not star struck, fair weather bandwagoners with little or no football acumen and a penchant for mass delusion - unlike certain other programs.

followed up it's 2003 AP NC with an undefeated season and blow-out of OU. They won 13 more straight games before losing to UT. The following season, they were one completed pass against UCLA from gettting in another BCS NC game. Before 2003, they were also 11-2 and won a BCS bowl. At one point, they won 37 straight games and were something like 84 or so and 7 and went to eight straight BCS bowls, winning seven of them convincingly.

You forgot to mention they did all that in the mighty PAC-10!

The real question is, why are you still allowed to post on this board. All you do is constantly flame. It is blatantly obvious that you are nor a real Tiger fan. Could the administrators look at the body of work from this poster?

Because they're trolls like you looking for hits.
We're suckers because nobody defends their team like LSU fans.

and we will likely get 2, maybe 3 more from this past weekend

You do recall that "blow-out of OU" was vacated as will be the 04 NC if things go as most see, right???

How many BCS NC has USC and the PAC won since the 98-99 season and how many have LSU and the SEC won?

How many teams from the PAC 10 have a NC since 98-99 and how many SEC teams have a NC sinse 98-99?

USC had a great run in BCS bowls and high NR'ing. No one can deny that.

No one can deny having such a run was a tad more easy to do when playing in the PAC 10 and facing the BIG ten in BCS bowl games as opposed to playing in the SEC either. imo

How is this legit questions a flame. As usual respondents can be catergorized into the following.
1. Those who attempt to comment or answer questions rationally
2. Those who bring USC into threads (in this thread, Kiffin)
3. Those who call names and attack personally.

Lame attempt to make this a USC-LSU and SEC-PAC-12 pissing contest.

Which came 1st, this from you:

"Using that as an example- how is that anti-LSU? LSU followed up it's 2003 AP NC with an undefeated season and blow-out of OU. Meanwhile, LSU followed up the 03 BCS NC with a subpar season and bowl loss...."

Or my response to your pointed attempt to call LSU out for our "subpar" season following our NC?

If it was a "pissing contest" between the parties you referenced, it would be a "blow-out" for LSU and the SEC.

So, I completely understand your wish to not go there. Thing is, you started the thread and the comparison on an LSU forum. I didn't go to a USC forum to talk bout USC subpar years and how great LSU has been since 2003.

Incorrect. I posted in RESPONSE to this:

quote:

*2003 NC is a good example.
*the USC propaganda which used to exist (until the sanctions) and the perennial push of Ohio St by Herbie and others is also a good example.
...the sensitivity lingers although a lot of those efforts has dwindled and let's not forget that we are in the "dirty south" and a lot of the commentators are EAST coast, WEST coast..

Yeah, I thought about posting it on another school's forum. Riiight.

Doesn't matter why, only that you did and when you did you opened yourself to what you got.

So, you were "incorrect" to whine bout it.

That's a great idea. Do you need a few web pages to pick from???

We don't want to selfishly keep you here and deny other schools fans your wisdom.
