It's all about the types of QBs we get... The two we have are runners at heart... Mett was a true pocket passer.. We need to focus recruiting efforts on more guys like Mett with more passing ability. I said this before the season and all I ever got in response was "have you seen Harris' ARM??? It's HUGE!!" .. Literally means nothing if you can't throw an accurate pass. Experiment over, get me a pocket passer please.

I'd have to disagree, Chief 1 Cam 2.. Chief has proven himself over the long run.. I want to see Cam develop Harris and then we can have this conversation. Either way I still like CCC.

Like it or not, Les Miles is the face of Louisiana State University. We're not looking too good right now.
I think it is time for him to go.
I think this works both ways. Les Miles as our head coach gives us a TON of visibility because the media loves him and he makes our games "must see TV," which is great for exposure and recruits. They all want to watch and play for that strange man who eats grass and doesn't know how to clap.
However, Les Miles as our head coach also means that we will also be Alabama's little brother for the forseeable future as long as Nick Saban is there. The next-level elite 5-star recruits see THAT.

Being a 5 star recruit means jack. JJ was a 5 star recruit. Compare and contrast Jacob Hester (2 or 3 star recruit).

Maybe so. That wasn't my point. I was saying that we have two of the best coordinators in the business and a buffoon as our HC and another idiot on Special Teams.
Miles needs to get out of the way and let our two coordinators do their job.
What we are doing now is completely unacceptable.

It means something when Nick Saban gets his hands on them.

Here's how it will go in 2015. We will be told there is great competition at the quarterback position. Both players have a great want to lead their team. Then we will be told that Jennings has a great knowledge of the offense and has experience but Harris is performing and supplying great competition. Then Jennings will be named the starter because of his experience even though Harris went 12 for 14 in the spring game with 2 passing and 1 running touchdown with no picks.

Did you not see the improvements made by Mett from his 1st year, no CC, to his 2nd year, with CC?
And we can't run a dynamic passing offense due to or QBs limitations. Jennings is just bad.
We have our QB that has lots of talent and the potential to be a great QB. But he's a true freshman and just isn't ready yet.
