Riddle me this, what program has done less with this type of NFL talent?

If they were familiar with the program, they would know what tiger fans know. There has been TWO fatal flaws with Miles' teams. The head coach, while a helluva guy, cannot recruit, coach up, or place QBs in the right scheme to win. The head coach has meddled with the offense and has run the same scheme since 2008, and every team we play knows EXACTLY what is coming. That doesn't work against good teams. With all of the incredible talent on offense that we have had, LSU teams should not be stuck in the bottom half in terms of total offense year in and year out. He got lucky as hell in 2007 (you KNOW he did) and he absolutely shite the bed in 2011, which was the most embarrassing game on the biggest stage in LSU history. Miles, while possibly the nicest, most down to earth guy to ever coach college football, does NOT have it between the ears to win the West. If the only team he lost to each year was bama, that would be one thing. But to lose to much less talented teams they way he has been in the last 5 years, and in the WAYS he has been losing to those teams, has become intolerable. He's won a bunch during his tenure, but actual LSU fans have come to realize that it's the incredible recruiting and talent level, not so much the game-planning and x's and o's that have gotten most of those wins.
I believe Les has gotten too comfortable. Too complacent. I don't know if he failed to realize his teams' consistent flaws or what. But i believe a coach like Fisher, with the level of talent he can pull in state and with LSU's current clout, can do better.
If that makes me spoiled, or ungrateful, so be it. I was a fan during the 90s, and LOVED seeing the team win in the 2000s. But I have no faith in Miles ability to win the big one again. And that's what a team with the varied and ample resources like LSU has, should be contending for each year.

It reeks of no leadership and it's unfair to the team. You present a unified front until you're ready to pull the trigger on a change.

Are you trying to make an argument for or against MIles? He's had lot's of NFL talent (except in the trenches where it matters most) and not had a lot to show for it (recently)

Things can't get much worse than being trampled at home at night. At worst, you're still irrelevant.

Not even close. In the last 5 years lsu has lost 23 juniors to the draft. The next closest team is Bama with 13.

People that are being critical either:
1. Haven't been paying attention to the program very closely
2. Aren't LSU fans
3. Combination of 1 and 2

I sat through the Dinardo years and attended every single home game. Back then, we invested a fraction of what we do in football. The results were commensurate.
And thanks for playing.

Fans are distraught the media has blown things way out of proportion. When really, its not about them. Its about LSU doing what right for the team. And they are.
Beyond the leak, there is nothing they could do differently. You cant announce a new coach til you fire one. And you cant fire one til the other is signed sealed delivered. Not easy when many coaches and their families lives are in play.
Takes time and its not even been a week. As long as we land our guy, this will have been handled as well as can be expected. Divorces are always ugly in the end.

The question was who has done less with the type of NFL talent LSU has had...

If we were actually playing ,then you clearly lost because you asked how could it get worse than being 7-3 with a chance to finish in the top 20.
