because the thought he would throw for 300+ and 4 tds. i thought he would have gotten close to the 250 mark, but it was his first game. he'll have a a better game this weekend imo.

I'd have to see body language and hear tone of voice...but the quote itself didn't seem thin-skinned or testy to me. It could easily have been spoken in a matter-of-fact manner, and everything he said was just that.
Everything I've heard from him this year showed maturity and level-headedness.

scona always whines when anyone says anything negative about the media. he's very insecure

Given the opportunities he had, I think he did great for his first game. he completed many of his downfield throws...now would I think those same stats would be good for ole miss? No, I wouldn't since he would already have several SEC games under his belt, but I do think he did great in front of a big crowd, having hurricane fatigue, and limited play calling.

'Scona likes to stir the pot and get people to call into his show.

OMG!!!!! Why are they throwing 3-5 yard routes when they need to be practicing 6-8 yard routes!!!!?? LSU will never beat Bama!!!!
:omg:
Sound familiar?

quote:Mutha F'ing this!! No problem at all with what Mett said!! Like stated earlier Matt just trying to stir the pot. He learned from his buddy little Ritchie....
i see nothing wrong with that, it's not like he said "personally, i thought i played well"
Posted on 9/5/12 at 7:56 pm to King of New Orleans
Nothing wrong with these comments.

If thats the quote, I think he said it great.

The funny thing about that is Matt Moscona comes off as thin skinned and testy almost every single time a called disagrees with him. He'll bitch and bitch on the radio for 10 minutes after the call. So he's the absolute last person that should be criticizing anybody about that.

I'm such a huge Mett fan, nothing would ever convince me he's not going to be one of our greatest QBs ever.

I was not disappointed in Mett's play. It was his first start. He'll improve and appeared already a more capable passer than JJ as an experienced senior. Sure, there were errors. If anyone expected a flawless start, they're deranged.
completely agree

Mascona says he came off "thin skinned" and testy. Anyone agree? I see nothing wrong with what he said. Also, everyone is bitching about "poorly" he played but before huge season, all everyone said was, "...if he's just average, we will be awesome!"
Sounds like Moscona needs to grow up and quit analyzing every word that falls from the mouth of a college football player. He must be a miserable human.

Until ZM8 does something AWFUL like lose a game, let's leave the kid alone. We've been wanting a true QB for ever, the media sucks man, they go from covering a #1 team with 2 inept QB's, to a #3 team with a highly thought of QB...that hasn't had enough time to really get in the groove yet...cover the stats yo!
