NCAA is damn joke and needs to change the rules. We are the host site and we earned it. Doesn’t make any sense to play 2 games Ina row being the road team playing at home

It's ridiculous. Was it some stupid coin flip?

It's fine if they want to give a team who hasn't been a home team a home game, but when the two teams left are equal as home teams then it should go to the hosting team. Especially if they were just the away team.

It blows my mind and drives tf outta me. It doesn’t make any sense to me. It’s like the regular season doesn’t mean shite

The rules stipulate that the team that has been the home team the least amount of games is the home team. If both teams have been the home team the same number of times, it kicks to a tiebreaker awarded to whichever team has been the visiting team more often.

LSU Home / Little Rock Away
URI Home / Little Rock Away
LSU Home / DBU Away
Little Rock Home / DBU Away
Little Rock Home / LSU Away

LSU Home - 2
LSU Away - 1

Little Rock Home - 2
Little Rock Away - 2

Because Little Rock has played more games coming out of the loser's bracket, they were the Away team more times than LSU and because they were the Away team more often than LSU, they get to be the Home team in both games of the Regional final.

It's a stupid rule that can reward a team for coming out of the loser's bracket.

All those rules look like they were made up by someone who had to justify their job when the obvious way to do it is already laid out in front of them. Each team is assigned a seed 1-4. When 2 teams face each other, the team with the lower number is the home team. That's right, the 4 seed can never be home and the 1 seed can never be away. Don't like it, don't be a 4 seed.
