Lawyer: Mr. Sankey, what is a professional athlete?

Sankey: Well, a professional athlete is someone who gets paid to play a sport.

Lawyer: So every athlete playing in the SEC who is paid to play a sport by a member institution is a professional athlete?

Because Tonsillitis Chambliss is playing his 6th year and should be in the NFL.

Because many college football players make more money than NFL players.

Because the NCAA has carved so many exceptions and unfair waivers, no one knows who is what anymore.
