Jay ain't benching Arrambide just yet and you can't take Serna's bat out of the lineup right now

Serna’s defense needs work, but Arrambide isn’t much better. Serna should be the everyday catcher because he at least has promise at the plate.

Jay said Arambide was LSUs best hitter coming out of spring and his performance throughout spring and fall backed up the claim. I dont see him bailing on him just yet. He's slugging .500 just looks so bad vs the curveball. Some atrocious ABs he is stacking up so far in SEC play

He had 5 hits last weekend against vandy. Yes he’s 0-6 this weekend but last weekend he was doing pretty good at the plate

He lacks any patience at the plate. At least Yorke collects walks and Pearson can tag one now and then. Pretty sure Bide leads the team in Ks right now, so it’s feast or famine. That’s a big problem.

He struggles big time with off speed, and that’s a huge problem because he can be pitched around.

What worse is he’s not patient enough to just take the walk. He’s chasing.

I don't get it. The very few at bats hes had have been good. Give him a shot at first. At least vs leftys if jay is that in love with big boy. He must have kicked Jay's dog or something.

I’ve been saying get him more at bats and if he can swing consistently, put him at first.
