Hoover is a great tradition but Biloxi would be awesome

They need to at least rotate the thing maybe every third year. Give other people a chance to experience it.

Is there something preventing "other people" from traveling to the tournament?

How does Biloxi have a AA team, but Shreveport doesn't? Shreveport is much bigger than Biloxi. You could easily put one adjacently North of Margaritaville in Bossier and have a downtown Shreveport view that'd be badass. There is open land right there. The only open land near downtown.

Gulfport/Biloxi area has 426K people

Shreveport/Bossier has 383K people

Id include that whole stretch of coast from Hancock to Jaxkson county. Its very easily drivable by the whole area if you centered in either biloxi or gulfport lol

I live near Biloxi and I can say that is a really nice stadium.

I've watched the Gulf Coast marathon finish in that stadium several times. It's an awesome venue. And the location would be perfect for the SEC Tournament with regards to hotels and tourists that week.
The only issue is capacity. If they could address that with some extra seating and a berm area for kids, it would be a no-brainer.

Pic of stadium showing proximity to Hard Rock and Beau Rivage.

That number probably does include them. We drive from the Pass to see them

Parking is an issue for when USM and MSU play here. They usually sell it out when they play here even if they play a directional school. The crowds would be crazy for 2 SEC teams playing each other

Just do it. Try it out first one year. With the location the capacity may be adequate.

The problem is the stadium is land locked to the south by a parking garage, to the east by a road and to the west by I110.
