he is the man of the future, and I would like to see him get 2 or 3 quarters of play this week...no way in hell I would move him into the starting role in any game this year, though...

See what happens when you stray from your base offense. Bama got away from what got them to the game and loss. LSU defense got them out of their element, on the road, and made Bama change.
I rather bone crushing defense then some Gameboy offense that withers vs. talent, speed, and strength.

and this is why i sometimes HATE our fan base....
we just went toe to toe with the best team in the nation not named LSU, and WON, and we still nit pick the shite....
you do realize that not every game is an offensive fireworks performance, and that sometimes the opposing defense is THAT GOOD to, stop the presses, shut us down.....
funny, i don't remember and QB debates after the Auburn game... of course, we threw the ball with great success against a shitty defense, unlike the NFL caliber defense we played last night....
god damn it i hate our fan base sometimes!!!

Lee choked he threw two picks to safeties who never moved out of position he turned his back after throwing because he was afraid to get hit. JJ still does not know the plays he ran the wrong way on the option and does not know where his receivers are supposed to be. How much worse could Mett be? He looked very good earlier against ulm. He has poise in the pocket unlike lee!

You are aware that Mett has already played in a championship game?
Lastly, it seems to be that both Lee and Jefferson still need as many reps as they can get. There are a bunch of big games ahead and the more reps they get the better off we are.
