Exactly. It was dumb to try and fight it in the first place, now they have created a monster.
Similar to the first down chant where the student section yells "Kick their arse!" but the rest of the stadium yells "L-S-U" so it drowns out.
The solution is the rest of the stadium besides the student section saying the actual words "Talking out the side of ya Neck" or some other varation to drown the students out.

Am I the only one that thinks it's not a big deal, these are college kids having fun at a sports event. I remember doing the same, you get drunk chant some form of F*ck You to the opponent, and try to have sex with someone after. The only people that really hear it are ones at the game anyways, and no one outside LSU's administration and older fans care enough to even give thought to what some drunk kids are chanting, much less label LSU as a trashy school as a consequence.
