ERA for the entire staff is ranked 20th in the country. It’s not as bad as you think. Most fans here don’t really pay attention to the totality of college baseball, just LSU

This is the same pattern he had at A&M. The walks go up significantly from year one to year two.

Except they're not. Through the same number of games last year we had 131 walks. We have 114 this year.

I rather have the Greg Maddux type that can hit spots and change speeds (throw 88-93) than the Ricky Vaughn type that can throw 95-98 but can’t hit spots and don’t know where it’s going half the time.

Find another comp because there has been one Greg Maddux in the whole history of baseball. He’s not a type

If Yeskie can’t find the next Maddux, Smoltz, and Glavine, what are we paying him for???

I get what he is saying. Another one like Cowan then. Cowan probably went to Wofford because coaches probably didn't think he had as high a ceiling as the 98 mph types. But he can pitch

I’m all about it. I pitched in the early 2000s which was the golden age of the soft tossin lefty, a type of pitcher that had incredible success but is now extinct in the college game. I still think there is a place for a guy from the left side to throw slow slower slowest with great control. All pitching is is getting a hitter off time. There are lots of ways to do that. All that being said, it’s still better to find guys that can throw bullets with at least one good secondary offering

It's crazy that Yeskie has so many career accomplishments and is widely regarded as an elite pitching coach yet this dumbass board insists he sucks.
I think there’s a sarcasm thing going on here.
