You aren't. You won't be happy unless LSU has an X-Box offense. It ain't gonna happen Dorothy.

no, im saying this is a very limited offense not living up to its potential. if we ride it out and win a NC with D/ST, then Les Miles was right, all that matters is winning. but if we lose, undoubtedly b/c we needed more offensive production, and we miss out on hardware, im right and I should be the new head coach

whats your definition of winning?
Throwing the ball 80/90 times a game to satisfy X-Box experts like you.
LSU has elite talent? Maybe maybe not, Certainly very good. The talent that Les gathered is the type he wants to run HIS offfensive philosophy.
You see he is the head coach and has won lot of games doing things HIS way. He selected the talent, he uses them to the benefit of their talent within his offense. What you are not able to see is that he is using them exactly in a way to suit their talents. He's smarter than you are.
Now go play with your Madden. That way you can throw the ball all over the yard.

So when are you putting in your resume for the OC position? Your obviously smarter than the coaches and have seen all the practice and know what will and what won't work so please come save us because we are such an anemic offense

I feel our offense is missing Shep's big play ability. We need more big plays and guess what..he is back. Our backs are doing good, but it would be nice to see them pop a long run.

So you are satisfied with our offense?
Usually when someone asks a question you don't answer it with a question.
First off, you are contradicting yourself. You claimed that you don't want to air it out but then you act like throwing 40% plus passes for more than 10 is way too low.
As for your question, I would like to see more improvement each game leading up to as close to 100% possible efficiency. I don't think Lee should be "let loose" again and it doesn't appear that Les wants to either. With Lee comes the potential for great plays but I think he has an equal amount of potential for mistakes.

In Miles' defense, JJ was getting the most of the reps w/ the first team during fall camp. If it had been JL, I think a lot of the rhythm that's been missing between Qb and WR would not be present.
I personally don't think JL is a game changer. He's a solid QB, tho. He needed those extra snaps w/ the first team to build that chemistry. I wasn't at fall camp, so I don't know if ODB was running exclusively w/ the 1st team or not, but I'd be willing to bet he was running plenty w/ the 2nd team. Why do you think he and JL have connected so many times? (besides the fact that OBD is a Badass)
JL has improved on his route timing from Oregon to MSU. He will continue to improve. Vs. Oregon, a slant route looked more like a post. He was catching more of his receivers in stride vs MSU. It's all about chemistry. JL just needs more time and snaps to get that chemistry. Once again, he's a good QB, but he's not a Sam Bradford.

Well obviously you should. You obviously wont hold these guys back like Miles is because he is scared of offensive production.
And maybe you can get hired right away so you can go right in and completely change the schemes and routes that you know so much about. Who needs to see how players practice and play day in and day out?! Not you youre an offensive genius! And of course Mett you get in there! Yeah throw every down we don't need to control the clock by running it.
Im sure you will do so much better than Miles almost .800 win percentage

Yes and we are 3-0. Your point?

you must be another miles family member if you think our offense reaches its potential

It hasn't reached it's potential but it is working that way using Les Miles way of doing things. However I have yet to find a true indicator that will tell when anyone or any thing has reached it's ultimate potential. Have you? How do we know for sure that this peron has reached his maxumim potential?

So we are dooomed dooomed dooooemd because LSU doesn't throw the ball 80 times a game? But wait a minute maybe we will have a flood of 8 star O & D lineman who want to play crush mouth football Lineman love that. And the floodgates will open with defensive 8 star recruits that want to plan headhunter football. They live to deliver hurt. The doors will be kicked down by 8 star backs that want to be the locomotive that runs over opponents. Hmmmmmm Miles Ball could be the portend to greater things to come. We'll just call it the Destroyer Dynasty.

A gay reference? Interesting. Does that indicate a long suppressed desire on your part?
No matter. The offense is winning games. That is the point of the exercise; to win games. Satisfying you shallow knowlege of the sport by doing things inconsistent with the way the talent shakes out would be stupid. Les Miles isn't stupid. He is better at his job than you will ever be at yours.

With no help from the offense at all? The long, time consuming clock eating drives do nothing for resting the defense? Putting the opponent in predictable positions doesn't help the defense?
Please tell me you aren't dumb enough to believe that. Even if you and do believe it, tell me you aren't anyway.
You really need to quit playing those games and watch some real football.

You are both wrong.
The team is winning games. One couldnt win the games without the other. Its a team game in case you forgot
