christ man, get JL's nuts out of your mouth.

JL last 6 games,
6td/11ints
75/154 48.7%

any QB from the SEC that plays that badly should not see the field. Maybe thats while Miles has decided to start JJ despite JL being healthy.

dont get too excited, just yet

quote:

“Both (true freshman) Jordan Jefferson and (redshirt freshman) Jarrett Lee got a lot of reps (Wednesday),” Miles said.

I think it’s likely you’ll see the Jefferson-Lee combination,” Miles said. “If Hatch gets back to life, we’ll see.”

Asked of the rotation against Georgia Tech, Miles said, “I think it’ll be Jordan Jefferson and then Lee.”

Immature college geeks want to be accepted so they pile on to show they are part of the geek attack.

The immature geek's worst fear is being singled out as an outsider, so they go with the group leader and pile on whoever the target is:student athlete, or coach.

Immature geeks, don't you love'm

do you live in youre own little world?

he helped put up over 30 points on arky.

we couldn't even do that against them LAST year.

defense lost that game big time.

you are one of the FEW JL cheerleaders.

you should go ask 10 people IRL what they think about JL in baton rouge.

it won't be all roses.

No one is saying it's all roses. Thats whats so stupid about this argument. I am fully aware of the following:

1) JLee saw his 1st SEC action this year
2) JLee really doesnt like contact
3) JLee has too much confidence in his arm, and tries to make throws that once worked against HS defenses
4) JLee threw too many interceptions

However, I weigh it against this

1) JJ saw his first SEC action this year
2) JJs completion rate is unacceptable
3) JJs only pick was returned for 49 yds (so the blame is on the entire off. unit)
4) JJs rush avg is 2.8 yds, which is the lowest of any ball carrier on the offense (so his running is not that big of a +)
5) JJs offense starts strong, but finishes weak (with our D, we cannot win like this)
6) JJ has yet to win a game

From that I draw these conclusions

1) LSU fans were lulled into dreamland by JR and Flynn. Any new QB was in for a letdown (next yr will only be better)
2) JLee can make throws JJ cannot (comp %)
3) JLee will get bigger, stronger and will be willing to wait for passing lanes to open up while expecting to get hit (limiting ints)
4) The offense will gets its act together and make tackles on pick 6s (no matter who the QB is)
5) Our defense gave up too many points, and we need a QB like JLee who has led several come from behind wins, JJ has not (but JJ should get lots of snaps i.e. Flynn/Perilloux)

Because he throws it to the other team.

The love-fest for JL on here is absolutely unbelieveable. Throwing pick 6's is unacceptable any team any QB. Unless you are a baseball statistician, I really don't give a crap who has the best percentage. JL embarassed not just himself and LSU but the entire state, and he will continue to do so as long as he keeps playing. He's just not any good. Throwing the ball to other team as many times as he did is enough for me, and everyone else of you rantards who has JL's balls in your mouth, go ahead. I'm a realist, and I know JL's future revolves around the shoe department at JC Penney's.

You sir, are a liar

a 40% comp rate is completely unacceptable. LSU would have won 2 games with a QB that had those stats, and you would be typing your fingers off about how sorry he was.

Only its because he's the best option we have right now.

Hatch didnt really have it, also stays hurt
JJ hasnt won a game, even against a weak SEC opponent

Same reason we stayed with co-DCs. Really had no other choice. Some idiots wanted the Tuberville approach, and change horses in mid-stream. How'd that work out? No bowl game, and a losing HC hired.

Same concept here. JLee made mistakes. But bringing in someone to replace him who doesnt make the throws, takes more sacks, and produces no wins is not the answer. Its just a change with no proof of success

man are we turning into an ignorant drama queen or what.

"it is better for people to think you are stupid, than for you to open your mouth and prove them right."

JL showed me that he is raw and green...
interceptions ,etc.
..the fact that he coming back week after week and fighting thru all the bullshite some of you ignorant people put him thru, shows me he has guts.

I do not know what he will become, neither does anyone else.

But I will put money on this, he will not be as bad as some of are dying to make him out to be.
...which by the way, I would love to see what kind of guts you would demonstrate if you were under the same set of circumstances.

...and this is the way you back a new LSU QB.
I am glad you guys are LSU fans and not haters...
would hate to see that.

I'd rather win the game than not throw a pick 6. Jefferson will be a good one, but at this point his inability to consistently complete a pass makes me think he isn't "WAY BETTER THAN LEE THAT PICK 6 THROWING a-hole"

Yea because everybody is bashing Jefferson's ability to make decisions and praising all knowing Lee for his ability to make decisions. I defended Russell when people were calling for his head. I defended Flynn when people were calling for RP, and now I'm defending Lee who is in a much worse situation than those 2 were. Lee was thrown to the wolves and he didn't complain or whine he just played his hardest. Even after half the stadium boo'd his arse off the field he led us to the biggest comeback in LSU history. That shows he has that special something a QB needs to be great.
