Dude just because I seriously doubt JJ will transform into a capable qb doesnt mean I think it is totally impossible! I mean he may become mature and develop into a leader and not say stupid things and become a good qb between now and the season. Including the spring game he hasnt shown it but it is possible.

I will be here to eat crow if this does happen will you if it doesnt?

JJ was ranked.11 out of 12 in passing in the best conference in the best devision in college football. Add up his total yards and total tds. You dont bench ur best qb. Just cus hes not the best in the conference doesnt mean hes not the best on the team. But either way i expect to see all 3 qbs this year and JJ isgoing to start until one of the other guys proves in a game he is clearly better.

I was replying to ur oh you cant take a wait and see approach without jj lovers jumping all over you. Im calling you out saying ur not one of those guys. You jump at every opportumity to diminish the kid.

This goes back to arguing the depth chart thing. Just cus JJ is listed as the starter doesnt mean he will receive all the snaps. Yall all want to see JJ prove it on the field. I understand that. My point is none if our qbs have. Im gonna take a wait and see approach. Until then im supporting the guy miles has named the starter.,,,

11th out of 12 is far from the best in the conference especially when he was 100th out of 116. If he was 11th out of 12th and maybe 40th out of 116 then you might have an argument. Again I told you I would be here if he shows he has improved and performs consistently will you be here if he doesnt?

If you add up total tds and total yds hes not 11 out of 12 though. You are only counting one category. In college football the qb does more than pass. Heres why i like JJ. One of his favorite plays he said was laying down the block for dpeterson on the reverse against bama. But posters like you seem to ignore anything he does good and spout out crap like 11 out of 12 in his conference. Or 4-14 against the 2s. Show me the better qb at lsu and ill gladly jump on that train.

Yeah ill be here when JJ does ok and we are in atlanta. Like i said show me the better qb at LSU. Rt now its JJ. Unti

Or do you think Stanford or Oklahoma would even consider swapping their qb for JJ????????
Prolly not since they've been running their respective Os and know it well.

Are you implying Jefferson couldn't thrive in those systems if reared in it since a Frosh?
Have you ever noticed some air raid teams put up the same #s year after year, regardless of 3* QB? The QB is just a cog in the machine and a great air game is only great because it's practiced extensively by pass happy coaches (with great QB coaches).
Does this sound like LSU?

Every tiger fan would love to get behind jj. No one is rooting against him. We are just leery. I heard this same bullshite last year of jj tearing it up at the manning camp then he played like shite all year. Jj needs to learn the cerebral part of playing the position. God game him all the physical tools to be an amazing qb but few of the mental ones. I want jj to make everyone eat crow. I would love for us a to be wrong about him. But as Dennis Green said, "he is who we thought he is, and we let him off the hook. "

LSU finished ranked #8 last season. Second in the SEC, behind only #1 ranked Auburn.

in what category are you referring to? I know not offense.

There wouldn't be any crow to eat if you didn't dis him like a parrot.
You don't find any encouragement in reports from coaches, unbiased ex-QBs and media. It undermines your propaganda.
I swear I think you'd rather see JJ fail than for LSU to succeed.

Dude I know it doesnt fit with the JJ fan club propaganda and call me crazy but I want to actually see JJ do it on the field on a consistent basis not the starting game like last year then crap the bed for 7 straight weeks because he only had 1 week in between games then on a roller coaster for the rest of the season.

As far as wanting to see JJ fail dude I have already seen JJ fail way more than I ever have seen any other LSU starting qb fail believe me I dont want or need to see it again!

Maybe I would just like to see a competent qb out there who might actually give LSU an alternative to failing. I know crazy huh!

Oh I am an Alabama fan because I would rather see LSU put a competent qb on the field instead of JJ and actually improve their chances of winning a national title.

FYI I saw numerous articles on how JJ had made huge improvements going into the spring game this year and look what we got? Same old clueless JJ.

I know the facts arent on ur side so continue ur flaming I know JJ is marking down ur points so u can move up the list!

The thing is Lee isn't any more competant than JJ and Mett is a big question mark.

I would take the qb who last year threw 1 INT in 89 passes over the one who last year threw 1 every 21 passes.

I think Mett has shown he is easily the most gifted passer all he is needs is reps with the first team and I would be more than willing to wager that Mett seriously does much better than JJ did last year given the opportunity to start.

Who's to say that with more snaps, Lee wouldn't throw more INTs?

He's definitely the most gifted passer in practice, the most accurate with a good arm. But he's not played in the SEC and at this point he is a ?, an unknown.
