I live in the Richmond, Va area and if I see somebody wearing a LSU cap/t-shirt, you know they are either from Louisiana or went to LSU. I have not met any bandwagon LSU fans, unlike Alabama bandwagon fans. They are everywhere up here.

Of course the guy in NC will give it to you - it's out of the norm, so he recognizes that fact. In BR you see it all day/every day.
that's an adjustment i'm having to make in Vicksburg, where it seems like people wearing LSU stuff outnumber those wearing stuff from the 3 major Mississippi schools combined...

Hopefully they would just say it really loud so that all the people around would hear it and they wouldn't have to say it a thousand times a day. But then again you would have thousands of people yelling "GEAUX TIGERS" all day long and it might get really annoying.

Stopped reading thread at this. BR is where I grew up, but have since lived in several places since, and to hear people talk shite about BR is just stupid. Great city, beautiful state and I miss it dearly. Would move back in a heart beat if I could find a job there paying what I make now.

Because in Baton Rouge you'd say Geaux Tigers instead of hello
