exactly

Probably better to spend time studying film than to sit and listen to Duke Riley talk about the Falcons.

You are actually probably as close to what is really going on as anyone.

The principle many, and I think LSU, operate under is that if you don't, you get passed up. And surely it is logged.

It is indeed the coaches job to both check and "pressure" guys to do it. You can't rely on enough of 'em doing it on their own. Yes, some of them will; not enough to have a good 'unit' or 'squad'.

The bulk of this is on the position coaches, with quite a bit on player-leaders. But it is indeed, so that their not getting a pass, the job of HC and Coordinators to make sure the position coaches are on top of it AND they know who is participating in it.

By the way, almost all of that applies to S&C also.

I have coached for over 20 yrs and it never changes. We who have won titles (plural) look in the mirror every year and ask ourselves what should we change to be better. Most coaches repetitively say stubbornly who’s is at fault because it wasn’t my system that I learned and religiously believe in.

O said it in his short presser yesterday. Something along the lines of how they were limited on watching film and guys aren't watching additional footage in their rooms like they should.

Basically just throwing more players under the bus.

They don't respect their head coach and think he's a cool substitute teacher so the rules don't apply.

The same shite happened at Ole Miss. Players loved the guy but the team fricking sucked.
