Incorrect. He is still being paid is salary. So technically he is still "employed." This isn't a black and white issue. Its fully in the gray. He is still employed and not terminated therefore last weeks issue of pursuing the firing for cause can serve as his notice.

I am not saying I agree with it but by LSU still paying his salary they have left themselves a legal path to pursue their termination with cause. Rightly or wrongly.
