In my opinion he has played well in the last two games, he has not thrown more than one interception in a game... ever, and regardless of being sacked (I blame O-line) he has made some great plays with his feet. Enough of the Lee talk guys.

Uh....Because he's gotten better? Players do improve you know. Are you going to remember Rohan Davey for his 1st 5 or six starts? Are you going to remember Matt Mauck for his 1st 5 or six starts?

Because in the games prior to Auburn and Tulane, he was struggling - getting sacked and having a deer-in-the-headlights look about him. Fans were nervous about the upcoming SEC strength of schedule run.

Since he performed markedly better against Auburn and Tulane, that anxiety has mainly been put to rest.

So, your thread was more appropriate to about 3 weeks ago.

There is more people telling people to stop talking bad about jefferson than there is people talking bad about jefferson.

It looks like J. Jefferson will have a very good game this Sat. against ala. along with his WRs catching balls and R. Sheppard running well. There will be no repeat of last year of LSU's qb throwing 6 interceptions and a pick six.
LSU to beat ala. this Sat. Geaux Tigers!

I just don't see that many people on JJ's case. It's common knowledge that he's our best QB. There's no debate who the starter is. We just want to see every now and then in certain situations what others can do. It's really the same at every position on the field except cornerback or safety maybe. I personally felt that steven ridley hit the holes faster and saw daylight better than chcuck. But think chuck needs to start. Same concept.

He's going to make or break the game for us. We will know in about 4 days how good he really is.

Now, do you see your lack of logic there. Your saying one ridley is better than the Scott but the Scott should still start...That doesnt make sense. That's why people want to see Lee in. They know he's better than JJ, its about the opportunity this year to prove it. If someone isnt doing well they shouldnt start, doesnt matter who it is. Let them think about it on that pine, the pine really helps people figure things out..

I think you may be right...

Agree. This week will be a true test if he really has improved. I don't consider the last two teams we played a true test of if he's gotten better. He should have performed like that against some of the other weak opponents we played.

bottom line is lsu is too young this year and for them to be at 7-1 is a miracle....schedule has been fitting this far except florida....i think lsu could be national champions next year.......

Honestly, most of this has gone to the wayside over the past few weeks. Let's not encourage it to return please.
