They don't get paid to work out and study film year round in college.

He was pretty good at LSU but he couldn’t catch a cold. It seems he’s really improved his hands.

Why are most LSU players better in the NFL than they were at LSU?.

Absolutely this. Although down votes will rain on you for saying it.

Counterpoint:

Why are most Alabama players either the same level or worse when they get to the NFL?

Do you think it's unnatural for players to get better when they are being coached by the best in the world, and getting paid big money to focus 100% on football?

If you really believe this, you have issues.

Name 5 Saban coached Bama players that got significantly better when they got to the NFL.

You really think that every player who dominates in college, but doesn't in the NFL is regressing?

What I'm saying is that coaching matters.

Saban's players may see a drop in production in the NFL, but none of them see a significant jump.

He already has them playing at their peak when they graduate.

That is not the case at LSU.

I talked to a former high school teammate that played at Auburn. He said as good as our coaches were, college coaches basically have to teach you from scratch. I'm sure the jump to the NFL is even a bigger adjustment.
