well our WR blocking has gone to shite when it used to be a strength
we had guys with the physical tools to be top 40 picks who slid (toliver...now randle)

What happened to the video clips of the opening rounders that ESPN used to post in years past?
Posted on 4/27/12 at 7:15 pm to lsufball19
No I think it was Blackmon and Floyd on the first tier. Wright, Randle and Hill on the second. I thought for sure Randle would have been snagged by the end of the first or by now in th second.

Scouts were knocking RR for his route running and athleticism...
he drilled a low 4.4 on his proday, but had a surprisingly low vertical and broad jump...
should be gone by end of 2nd round still

he would have had more exposure
??? we were on national TV almost every game playing like 5 top 10 teams. he got plety of exposure, and announcers during the games gave him plenty of props. it's not like he had a bad year either. he had almost 1000 yards on a team that played in the national title game. he's not one of those guys that has some special attribute like running the 40 in 4.3. he's a big fluid WR with good hands and natural ability but his measurables don't set him apart. that's what gets you drafted, not having a slightly better season than last. josh reed had almost 1800 yards receiving and was drafted 4th among WRs in 2002, and in the middle of the 2nd round.

Officially should have stayed for next year. Pitiful that these guys ate going ahead of him
Without a doubt. Also. Whether its true or not. He quit in the BCSCG.(I don't agree). I haven't seen the all 22 from that game though. Also heard he had a somewhat bad attitude toward coaching decisions.

Love to see him with Rodgers ....cmon GB

i think RR was a big anti-JJ guy

Miles should have to reimburse RR for the money he cost him by playing JJ.
Ignorant. If you have talent , the nfl doesn't give a shite about production at the college level. I'm sure the nfl scouts can see that we struggled to get him the ball. I'm trying to help you not look ignorant in front of people, because I'm sure you will say this IRL. If it was about production, tommy Chang (? Hawaii qb) would've been a first rounder.

Rodgers and GB won't let his arse slack either

and a completely different WR coaching style and offense
true, but bowe was a pure specimen of a player and would have been a 1st round guy regardless. davis was a weird pick, but the only other wrs we've had come out weren't guys that had measurables that warranted 1st round grades

While I do think RR is a better WR than Quick, Hill, etc., I knew his stock wouldn't be that high because of numbers he put up with JJ at QB and his measurements not jumping out at you. Regardless, he is a great value pick for any team needing a solid #2 WR.
Once again production means shite. If you, a message board Poster , can see we LSU had trouble getting him the ball, a paid nfl scout or gm definately can.

there wasn't much difference in lafell and bowe

Tommy ching chong wouldn't have thrown for 22 bazillion yards in the SEC buddy

Bowe threw his size around a lot more.

The dude had over 900 yards receiving last year, playing in the SEC. If he is slipping, it isn't because of his stats. Just to make it totally clear, Miles/JJ have NOTHING to do with where RR goes in this draft.
DING DING DING WE HAVE A WINNER. of you have talent and show said talent, THE NFL DOESN'T GIVE A shite ABOUT YOUR COLLEGE PRODUCTION. they get the all 22 footage. They can see that you got wide open on a play but your qb couldn't deliver the ball.
