Why does Tremont always shoot the technicals when Mays ft% is better?

Yep, Mays was not in the game. Out of the players on the floor he was the best option at 77%

Because Mays doesn't pass the ball on the breaks.

It's honestly a fairly negligible difference given the low sample size. I'd feel confident with either one of them shooting FTs. Smart has a higher FT% than both of them fwiw. But isn't it a breath of fresh air having all but one player on the team shooting at least 70% from the line?

Good point, Mays has been a little off lately from the line but overall he and Smart are by far our most reliable FT shooters.

Mays was in the locker room getting looked at during the T I'm pretty sure.

Emmit Williams is a good free throw shooter as well.

Mays was hurt in this instance.

I could be wrong, but I seem to recall Mays shooting technicals in the past.
