DL is going to be the BEST IN THE LEAGUE

Statements like this are just ridiculous.
When does a unit lose 3/4 of its starters and suddenly become not just dominant, but best in the league? The talent gap is not THAT MUCH different if at all.
Is it the coaching change that gives optimism?

Maybe (Maybe not) Wilkerson can add "Something" in terms of technique and attitude that will be beneficial, but it's a mystery to me why an inexperienced and unproven Graduate Assitant, even though he has never coached a down of college football, is being looked upon by some as the Savior of the 2010 OL. I'd much rather had seen LM gone out and hired an OLDER, EXPERIENCED and PROVEN OL coach that knows the tricks of the trade to replace the current coach who seems to be kind of weak in the OL coaching technique area.......

This is a proven trait of the blind sheep. They cannot/will not be realistic (no, it is not negative to be realistic) when evaluating the team. So they look for anything to justify their P&G wishes.
Wilkerson may end up being a great coach. But to say that he's going to be a main factor in 2010 OL being dominant is as foolish as saying Gonzales will "fix" the offense.

I dont think we will be much better. Stud is not a coach he just yells a lot. But seriously our two seniors hurt us. I saw ciron last night and know why he didnt get drafted. Not to mention all the other younger guys should be better. Hopefully pj can step up and be a good center. Who arguably could have been starting last year, or should have been. New Faces, more competition is why anyone would think they will be better. Sadly though our oline coach sucks.

What coaching change? Brick Haley was here last year. The optimism is that our DEs look to be able to produce the results we all expected out of Rahim Alem last year.

A rotation of Adams, Montgomery, Mingo, Copeland, Ferguson, Downs, and Nevis is damn scary IMO. And if Davenport can start producing like a 5*, that's just another weapon in the arsenal.

Call me crazy, but I was severely underwhelmed by play of Alem, Woods, and Alexander last year.
