It's cause it's a bowl game. Doesn't matter we live 2 hours away, it's still treated as a bowl game.

Yeah I got it. I was more aiming the question as to what do they do for five days when they aren't sitting bored in their hotels but someone pulled up their schedule so its all good

I was about to ask if he took a pirogue.

BR traffic is worse than NOLA's, IMO, but neither cause TS to the SD trip to be two hours.

there are all kinds of activities planned for the team. They could bus down there the day of the game for that matter, but it's supposed to be a reward for a good season. Let the guys have some fun.

Just cause it's close to home, the BCSNCG has a week full of activities scheduled for the teams...not to mention all the media demands and other stuff that goes on during the week.

I know this is a nonissue. lol. But since when does it take 2 hours to drive 83 miles? lol.

If you count from the approach to the Miss. River bridge to the Superdome the answer would be Friday, December 10, 2011 when I went to the high school playoffs and hit Baton Rouge around 4:00.

Being that we are a mere 2 hours from NOLA why are the buses getting there 6 days before? I would understand the Saturday before ? Does anyone know the reasons?

LOL at the fact that you think the BCS Champ Game is only about the gameday itself.
