I thought to myself that LSU was swinging at a lot of first pitches on sunday.

That's how I feel about it. I understand the value of making a pitcher work But if they know you aren't going to swing, they'll just keep pumping it down the middle. What I would like to see is them swing if it's right down the middle. If it's borderline or if they aren't comfortable, then fine. Take the pitch.
