We're not used to playing on field turf and were psyched out by the 24-hour rain delay for the partly cloudy skies.

ALthough that is what LSU fans woud like to think, it is, indeed, incorrect.

The only reason I hate losing to them is for the mere fact people will bitch 2 whole days about it. They beat us! STFU and move on!! We play the #1 team on Friday. Tulane's small potatoes.

Go look up the stats of the starting pitchers last night, that was far from their ace

Preseason baseball doesn't mean squat. Baseball season doesn't begin until the SEC tournament or maybe even Regionals. Everything up to that point is just practice.
The games up to that point have a huge impact on how you do after that point. Seeding is more important in baseball than in basketball. Securing a national seed is a major advantage in reaching the CWS. A team that falters until the late stages of the season has a much tougher road through the playoffs than a team that positions itself well.
No one game defines a season or a team in baseball. It's a numbers game. Through 28 games, half the regular season, we're 21-7. That's not a bad record, and if we can keep that percentage up through the end of the regular season, we should be in good shape for a national seed if we do well in the SEC tournament.
