I think they should get stickies. They may not get the posting traffic that other sports get. But many are interested in checking scores and play-by-play. If someone is willing to keep up with updates I think a sticky is in order.

Just don't request the sticky and then not keep updating (even if the game/match is going badly). Admins will likely be hesitant to continue if that happens.

Once the new rankings come out, post one and request it.

Include this week's games and current stats.

I don't see why not, as long as the OP can be relied upon to keep the score up to date. I've seen quite a few softball game threads where the OP doesn't update, so that may be part of it.

Gymnastics got a sticky for the Bama meet, so it would make sense for softball too, especially now that we're into SEC play.

I'm a huge LSU Softball fan from North Louisiana, and have to really dig to get updates. I have wondered often why we can't get a stickied thread, at least on the big series. Heck, I bet LSU would provide updates if asked, considering the influence TigerDroppings has on its fanbase.

People on this board bitch about how unsuccessful our athletic teams are. shite, our Softball and gymnastics are probably the strongest programs out of anyone and they don't get enough recognition.
