Pathetic would be you telling LSU fans how to feel and what to post on a LSU message board about a schedule change that has LSU playing on Thanksgiving Day.

More futile than pathetic, I've found.

I'll be there in College Station drinking moderately and acting as if I've been drinking heavily. Can't wait.

And yes, you should get over it. It isn't a big deal.

I'm happy for you.

I will be home with my family and probably recording the game to watch after my 15 or so family members leave later.

My not getting to watch the A&M game free of the distractions that come with entertaining a house full of guest is a big deal to me.

If you cant understand that simple fact, you are a dumb bunny.

A&M should never have been allowed into the SEC!! Will not go! Don't want to go. I hated opening the seasons with them in the 90s. Nothing good comes out of being involved with that school....other than beating that arse!!

The very idea that I can't understand something like this is closer to trolling than anything I've done. People on your side of this argument are so uncomfortable not getting their way that they have to call people names and imply that they don't understand what family means so that they feel better about their point. Everybody understands family. Everybody understands that family is more important than football.

Here's a fact that I know you and all the others who are bitching incessantly about this understand but are loathe to accept: there are PLENTY of people who are perfectly ok with this Thanksgiving deal. If there weren't, this deal wouldn't have been seriously considered. You people need to get over the fact that the world doesn't revolve around you and that just because you don't get everything you want doesn't mean "LSU is getting the shaft."

What you're supposed to do at this point is get over it and move on.

I can go Friday. Can they move it to Friday?

Because Arkansas on Friday after Thanksgiving is a 21 year tradition.

Thanksgiving is nothing but a big family dinner, when relatives decide to get together for a huge Sunday meal on a Thursday. If I'm not mistaken, A&M and Texas used to play on Turkey Day.

You have 40 post in this thread.

No one is bitching incessantly about this more than you.

Get over yourself and move on.

I hope it is. That way we can assure the game will be a night game.

Having it on Friday will mean TAMU will NEVER experience a night game in Death Valley.

If we have to play on Thanksgiving when we go to College Station, why can't we make sure that the return games in BR are played on Saturday night? If the SEC and CBS respect A&M's traditions so much, then why can't they do the same for LSU?

I'll be living in Europe, so no.

For those still in the States, two reasons:

1. NFL.
2. Some families go without tv that day.

They did for years. I believe UTexas has requested the Big XII to give them a home Thanksgiving game every year. Last year it was TCu at home; this year it's Texas Tech I believe. Gary Patterson said he didn't think that was right fot UT to get that. Dodds and UT will prevail every year I'm sure.

Jesus, dude. Just STFU. You are fine with the game being on Thanksgiving; we get it. You have made your point. You have been on here bitching about other people's opinions for forever. Go do something else with your life. YOU are the one who needs to get over it.

Nice try, but this is what I'm saying to fans who are bitching about this. This thread has been a tantrum thrown by fans not getting their way, and I've only told them to stop throwing the tantrum.

Your 41st post in this thread telling others how they should feel about LSU playing on Thanksgiving Day.

You are the one throwing the tantrum.

Get over yourself and let it go.

Boyfriend: you complain too much
Girlfriend: stop complaining about my complaining.

Nice try, but you won't spin this one. The Thanksgiving game will be fun for most.

Well they shoved Arkansas at us for 20+ years trying to make it into a rival game for LSU and gave us a special day for it. Now they are shoving A&M at us. Just stop already.
