He played great last night. WRs dropped balls. Oline was dominated.

Only the uneducated and Beta minded racists want to see Daniels benched

Played great last night... lmao... so tell me you know nothing about college football then lmao. He played like dog shite. Let me guess you looked at his final line stats... you mean including the catch at the end in garbage time that went for the touchdown... which was a short pass as well... Take that out and tell me how "great" he played lmao... shut up and please exit stage left lol

He has been criticized second guessed ever since he was in the first Spring game. Many of us predicted he would play WR in the NFL, if he switched position, instead of QB.
I haven' changed my mind despite all the attacks.

Virtually nothing about last night was good. Including QB play. I think JD is super talented, but he straight up refuses to throw the ball downfield. We scored zero points in the second half until there was a minute left and we were down by 30. If you honestly don't think the QB is one of the main reasons for that happening, then I think you have subconciously decided that JD will never be the issue no matter what the actual circumstances are. In no real world does that reasoning make sense. WRs were bad. But the QB is the most important position and he was also bad. I do believe better QB play would've made up for the drops, the way that Travis did.

I would tell him he is going to give a try at WR or sit on the bench.

Can he catch the ball over the middle?

I don’t think anyone is really saying the QB can’t be criticized.

It’s the fact that a lot of people are acting like he single handedly cost us the game and not even acknowledging everything else.
This is my opinion. The entire team was trash yesterday outside a few players. Coaches on down, Daniels included. Absolute embarrassing trash. One player ain’t fixing that, I don’t care who starts at QB. They need a big arse mirror to stare into for a while.

The frick are you talking about? Almost every thread on this board is shitting JD.

But if someone brings up the QB play it’s not JD’s fault at all?

He had 150+ yards in the first quarter and people were calling for him to be benched. That was just fricking stupid at that point. His play in the second half was not good, but he did make some good throws that were dropped. The Lacy one was bad and definitely was a turning point in the game. Is JD above criticism, of course not. But people saying he played like dog shite is just dumb.

He led both teams in passing and rushing. Instead of crediting him with that, everyone will try to minimize it by saying it was garbage time or yards after the catch. Qualifying his stats that way would be the same as someone saying he would have thrown for over 400 yards if you eliminated the drops. But we don't add yards to him for drops the same as we don't subtract based on YAC or the timing of the yards. Travis still had fewer yards than JD and that includes the yards he racked up once our defense gave up.
