And baseball will ALWAYS be a sport that one-fourth of the country even pays attention to.

Anyone who says otherwise is delusional. And I am a baseball fan who has been one since 86.

Achievements of baseball outnumber both of those sports combined, sorry

No. They do not. Everyone will remember Joe Burrow. And Tyrus Thomas and what he did in Atlanta with the entire nation paying attention. Few will be able to say, "Remember when Jim Greely knocked those 2 Homers off Daniel Chang in 93?" "Remember when Gary Hymel went off on Fresno State?"

The baseball team will again be more successful than basketball. Men’s BB will be looking for an NIT position, LSU will again host a regional.

Achievements equal championships, championship appearances, relevance. LSU baseball has more success, not national exposure. Don’t be daft and confuse the two

Nearly everyone would. It would be nice to have all three performing at a high level though. Honestly Baseball has been the least exciting of the three the last few years.

Are you honestly trying to compare the 2? Baseball averages more attendance per game than basketball at LSU. You’re a fool

The “who cares, it’s basketball” LSU fan is the worse LSU fan, and it’s not even close.

I could go off on how the baseball fans are watching a regional sport that is limited to players not good enough to get drafted and most wont play in high A much less the majors but I’m too nice and classy to do that

yeah i am not a baseball guy and don’t understand dickhard baseball fans saying who cares about basketball when in reality nationally WHO cares about college baseball

there’s a reason you rarely see regular season college baseball on TV. not shitting on it whatsoever and i respect how much love our fans show the baseball team, but on a national stage it’s just not as important as football or basketball

the scumbag troll who started this thread is apparently a big baseball fan, yet he's on tigerdroppings during a fricking baseball game talking about basketball.

How's that possible?

I haven't watched LSU basketball since Daddy Dale burned the program to the ground in the early 90's...I haven't missed it even a little bit!

Or you could say baseball, unlike football and basketball is a true amateur sport played mostly by student-athletes, not mercenaries checking a box in order to make it to the professional level!
