Miles is playing it extremely conservative and doing just what he has to do in order to win. No style points this year.
Agree with you, as usual.
He knows full well if LSU keeps winning that style points are a non factor.
The SEC obviously gets a ton of respect...win and "you're" in.
eta: its likely he's gonna have to take some risks against Bama and Arky (possibly Auburn) though, IMO anyway

Just sayin'. I think beating teams an average of 30+ to 10 each game shows that he kinda knows something.
Or that his team is loaded with talent.

Andy Reid has proven that talent isn't everything.

Yep, I want style points but they are not necessary and are not Miles style. Grind it out, play the game of field position and score more points than the other guys. I would love to see 60-7 and 500 yds of offense but it just isn't going to happen on his watch.

On the play right before the half, Jefferson had just been stuffed and I simply don't think that the coaches had a play that they felt sure would succeed. I think that if LSU still had a timeout, they would have talked and likely gone for it, but there wasn't time.

I assume you will settle for a BCS championship, though?

Gee, I wonder if maybe he might have something to do with that too?
