The same people that protected Miles for 5 years will give a repeat performance with Mr. O. They are the prime suspects.

Only a true retard would compare what Les did here in anyway to what O has done here to this point.

That five year period you are pissing on included more wins than Saban had, a undefeated SEC season, and a NCG appearances.

It would be easier to ask who is not to blame

He had the highest winning percentage in LSU football history and appeared in two national title games, all while having to play the greatest coach in cfb history every damn year. I'm not saying that it wasn't time for him to leave, but if you think he demolished our program then I can't wait to see what you're going to call what O is doing to the program.

Thank you for making my point about placing the credit where it belongs - and it's not Les Miles. Do you think his winning percentage, two national championship games (one of which was a total embarrassment) and all the misguided accolades had anything to do with the guy who was there before him - who lifted the program to heights it had never seen before in the modern era? Do you? Blinded by the light.

I'm not a Saban fan, but put the credit where it belongs. One thing's for certain - it's not with Miles. The evidence is everywhere. Look around. Don't even suggest Miles could come to BTR and take a 3-8 team to a National Championship. Rubbish. He was riding the Saban wave, and it finally crashed on the beach. That's a testament to how much momentum he left to the program. And it was squandered.

The point was never that Saban didn't build the program. The point is that Miles maintained it in the toughest conference in college football (which it wasn't when Saban was here) which is a lot harder to do than y'all think it was, therefore earning his defenders.

Coach O has never done one thing in his entire coaching career to earn any one on his side. Yet half of fricking Louisiana defends him like he's their mother.

??? How is this considered a noteworthy effort with all the heavy lifting already done? My son and his buddy over at the shop could have maintained it and looked like geniuses... at least for a while.

I think the true measure is looking at how quickly another schoool picked him up. Oh wait...

No, they could not have. Not even a little while. And O wouldn't have either.

Also, if you think O isn't inheriting a Ferrari you're an idiot. Say what you want about Miles, outside of a QB he recruited as well as anyone.

Frick it, I blame Pat Haden for not hiring Eaux at USC.
I blame Brick Haley for getting fired from LSU.
I blame ESPN Radio Baton Rouge for promoting Eaux as a guest speaker.

I bet if Les had known Eaux was going to take his job in a coup, he would have never hired ole Bey Bey...
