So you prefer Malveto to Greg Robinson?

Not necessarily. And NFL experience does not necessarily translate into success in college, like, um...Robinson at Syracuse.

Dave Campo sounds like a better option to me. Or some DC at a smaller school who's got a good track record.

I know he's done well with his D-lines in college. How did he do with LB's and DB's at Ole Miss, and was he ever actually a DC?

Coach O supposedly hates LSU

Check out the Coaching Changes board for more opinions on the DCs

I wouldn't mind ole Ed O but what I would really like to see is us go after Mike Stoops, I've heard rumblings from some friends out in Arizona that AU is getting tired of him and may be quietly looking to replace him.

If this were to happen I would be willing to bet he would take a job back closer to home and with the talent we have he could get nasty with his style again. Got money to spend as well.

We need him bad! I'm afraid another year of Malleveto would set the program back 5 years.

how bout Tyron Nix from South CArolina? He's done a great job and play aggressively. Sure, they got run over by Florida. Remember, they have no offense and had given up the first 21 points on about 10 yards of offense.

Bud Foster is going to be a head coach soon. Do we want another guy that is here for a year max and gone? Maybe we do but the scheme switch alone takes more than a year.

I'm convinced Mick will die on the sidelines after going into an offense-induced tirade. Has Mick never produced a protege? Do Chuck Amato or Kevin Steele count?
