My favorite way to go (except with my son).
No distractions.

Absolutely. Did it for Texas too.

Excellent post and discussion. And very relevant to many of us.
Like another poster, gonna use the 2003 Arkansas game as a corollary.
I went with a group of people who had tickets but I didn’t. Figured I could find a loose one at stadium for reasonable $$$!
Found one, but it was not easy. Was just happy to get in.
As I told my friend's when we met back up after the game “...my seat was great for 2 reasons:
1. I never had to hear someone yell ‘down in front’ and
2. I had a nice back-rest, even more so than the chair-backed seats”!!!
Seat was top row on the visitors side upper deck And I’ve not the slightest regret.
The historical nature of the situation calls for an exception to normalcy.
My father went to Super Bowl III all by himself. That was probably the 1st one where a ticket was a hard find.
Anyone who says no to the question is weird!

My wife (no pics) and I are sitting in different sections and will be making new friends. We don't care. We're in the dome for the game.
