Someone wrote in to ESPN with the same question about 2 weeks ago. Both commentators agreed it would be hard to leave an SEC team out even with one loss. Linquist, I believe was one.

Hope They are right. I'm sick of seeing USC,OU or OSU tossed in there every year or so because they have no losses.

An undefeated SEC team won't be left out. Unless it's Auburn, and they're already out.

I love how this is topic is treated this way, and it is taken as a given when there is NO basis for it.

If USC doesn't completely blow out pretty much everyone on their schedule, they will be the odd man out of the discussion between undefeated SEC, Big-12 team. Even less so if OSU doesn't win the Big 10/another team beats them worse than USC.
