A person is "worth" what he can get paid. No more no less. Les runs an enterprize that returns about $50 million to the LSU athletic department. From a purely business standpoint, I'd consider that he is worth the investment.
that's not fair, he gets paid way more than minimum wage, just ask his manager at Micky Ds.

Sure - thank the SEC and TV for the return, TAF contributors for the facilities and Saban for turning the program around. People always get paid what they are worth - right.

The doom and gloom guys are left with little more to bitch bout but for our WINNING margin. lol
10-1, 6-1, and 5th in the BCS.
Seems like pretty good coaching to me, but each to our own.

Yes. You are paid what you are worth to the organization. Not a peny more or less. I know that it is hard for you to handle, given the probable state of your finances, but it is true in the real world.

If you know so much then you would know that a basic tenet of economics is that any thing including the value of a person's work is worth what a willing buyer will pay for it. LSU is willing to pay big bucks for a coach that wins and runs a clean program. Les Miles does that. I don't think he is paid for a specific number of touchdowns, is he? LSU is willing to pay for his servicer, ergo he is worth it.

Probably not. Admittedly I don't earn as much as I did when I was actively employed. But you seem to have a very shallow understanding of how economics works.
