Whoever wears #7 this year will have to shine to make that a legit tradition. I think jalen mills should.

As for 18... We don't really know the "struggle" factor like the team does. Landry will be the best offensive player next year. But I'm aware that it's not the propper criteria for that tradition...

I respect the #18 tradition. But, a lot of posters get way to wrapped up in this shite imho.

Eh, it's something for us to talk about. Anyone who knows anything will tell you the players pick 18 and it's passed down. It's fun to speculate.

As for #7, as I've said, we need a couple more impact. #7's for it to be a tradition. 18 is passed, #7 is straight up performance. Ppl hate on mathieu but he wore it as well as one could after peterson. I think jalen mills will be the next "big" DB.

#7 is tarnished due to a selfish individual. #18 is about a team player

Of course it is.
Anybody with eyes and a brain knows its true.
As I said earlier, who knew we have so many butthurt kids in this site.
Some people can't handle the truth I suppose.

I mean we are talking about two former LSU football players that only they have in common is their popularity.
Fact is, one player represents everything we want LSU football to be.
The other represents everything we don't want LSU football to be.

It's not a debate, you people mad and talking shite should reevaluate yourself.
Stop hating... Geees.

Look is Hester the most gifted talent fb player LSU has ever had?
Obv not.

However you'd be hard pressed to name another player that meant more to his team taking into consideration his tangible and intangible contributions every time dude stepped on field.
Attitude, leadership, and witt.
What effect do you think it has when Hester runs over a tenn db in seccg. Twice? And drags dude like a girl? guy did it his whole career. That sort of play is contagious.

As I said I'd build a team with a dependable leader jacob Hester caliber football player over a Matthieu everyday of the week.

No spin here.
Just facts.

Nah.

Ask 100 diff LSU fans who was best, you'd prob get 100 diff answers.
Just bc I or you or anyone else doesn't agree with the next doesn't make it ridiculous.
