We need a new, young back that runs the ball hard like Guice and Fournette when Guice goes to the Draft next year. Idk if Edwards-Helaire can do the job.. gimme your thoughts

CEH will be a great running back for us. Not on fournette level, but he runs hard like Guice.

We'll probably have a drop off in RB play next year. Our guys should be solid but not on the level of the last several years.

Should have been Travis Etienne. Gonna be either Noah Cain, John Emery or Tyrion Davis.

We'll have a RB by committee next year with Chris Curry, CEH, Brossette and maybe Harold Joiner.

I hope they ridiculed you too. He's not a RB. Stevens is a safety.

Fournette was a generational back, very few here appreciate just how good he was for us.

Guice looked better last week. Maybe he breaks out this week. I think CEH looks pretty good on KO returns lately, one of the few complaints I have on utilization this year is why we are not getting him a few touches from scrimmage. I guess because we have only had one game to give the backups alot of reps.

Considering the rushing yards between our RB and WR what difference does it make at this point?

BINGO!!! I just wished he could have stayed healthy during his time at LSU. He will be a great one in the NFL.

Edwards-Helaire is a good back. But he's not the physical freak that Fournette is, nor is he as violent a runner as Guice (when healthy). Think of a slimmer (right now) Maurice Jones-Drew.

Curry (committed for class of 2018) seems to be similar to Darrell Williams. He's not a guy that's going to make a ton of people miss, but he is just a one-cut downhill back.

If you are looking for a sure-fire gamebreaker on the roster next year, I don't think LSU necessarily has one at the moment

I have a feeling you cry a lot anyways. You sound like a huge pussy. Nicks a good back.

No he is not. He was supposed to be better than Guice. He was recruited as the 19th RB in the country of his class and has yet to show any promise to me. He doesn't hit holes hard.

Hard to compare. People talking about LF as a modern day Bo Jackson.
LSU will figure it out.

A guy of their caliber isn't yet in the fold.
