Cabrera easily. He was the heralded phenom who was supposed to take an even bigger step this year and turn into a true slugging cleanup hitter. And for most of the years, he never moved out of that #4 spot, didn't miss games except for injury, and came up in many, many big situations.

Reid was cut from the team (in case you didn't hear that 17 times every single game), was behind Hughes a couple different times this year, and spent the latter half of the season batting 6th or lower.

Reid and Hughes were starters going into the super regional. Not just guys on the roster, but starters.

I'm sure they are good kids, but would they even make the roster at Vandy or any of the other SEC teams still alive?

As for Cabrera, a disappointing postseason to be sure. He seemed very much out of the forefront, where a player like him should be.
