I read it too. Have been for a while. Much as a few have said here, he makes some mistakes, but his website is free and all LSU. The thing that irritates me is when people criticize his website and the fact that he asks for donations, yet they still read it.

Hate him?? That's pushing it just a little. If you don't like him, don't go to his website. He is just a big LSU fan that probably has fun with the site and enjoys going to games. Wish we had more fans like DD......

You should read the recruiting board a little more often during signing season. Not saying it is fair...

the story is hes a fan with a website. nothing more nothing less.

I'd have to disagree with that statement. That's like saying CP3 is just a Hornet or something.

Dandy works hard asking people that KNOW something about LSU football. He works the phone and talks to recruits and LSU people, he gets some stuff wrong abut admits it if he does.

I haven't seen Don beg for donations. He asks.

You are really reaching here... If you ask for money you are begging. A homeless man asks for change and we call him a beggar.

He asks for money for a service that he provides. When was the last time a homeless man cut your lawn or did your taxes in exchange for your "donation"?

Seems to me that his intentions are for the good of all LSU fans and if you ran a website that takes up a good deal of your time wouldn't you want a few donations to help you out?

I find the Dandy DOn website somewhat informative and but take it with a grain of salt. I just don't understand how the same people can come out and bash this guy time and time again. SImply don't read the website.

I've read all the replies about DD. But i didn't read anything about his last name. I think one person said it was Long...If I'm not mistaken, he's a relative of the "KingFish" Huey P. Long.

Did you guys know that is a relative of Governor Huey Long. Hince the name Don Long.

I've conversed a few times with him and he really seems like a nice guy who loves his Lord, Family and LSU. Not sure about what order.

Good Guy with a passion for LSU athletics. Works with his son by phoning various contacts about the athletic programs. Does not get some things correct, but who does? Hell, Chris Mortonsen makes a living being wrong.

Unfortunatly, the many of his detractors are the same whiney, spoon fed little college bitches that reside on this site. The same ones who never get shite right themselves, yet still somehow secretly depend on people like Dandy.

He will never say it, so I will. frick All of You ungrateful Bastards. Your Welcome, DD.

If you go to DD website and read the content he can ask you for money but you do not have to give it. Hardly a comparison to a "homeless" person on the corner with a sign saying please give me money. If you have ever been to San Francisco you wold know what beggar truly is!
