I know nothing of ML but it can’t be a real thing. Only a moron would put up 20k for $100 payout.

Moneyline is picking the winner. Straight up, no line/points. Picking the underdog typically pays out more than the bet. Picking the favorite typically pays out less than the bet.
And they are absolutely a real thing
If you think LSU will beat Miami, you’d be wise to take LSU moneyline (as opposed to LSU +3), as the payout is larger than the line payout.

Yeah I get that but to be 20k to win a 100 the line would have to be Miami -20,000, That’s a line for like Godzilla vs Donald Duck, lol
