fwiw, I'm not taking up for Bailey, nor am I saying he's the 2012 savior of LSU. Just thought I'd throw that gem out on Garrett. The QB that is, because Lee left, was supposed to be the All-SEC QB in 2012.

Why do people like you understand that some players develop later. Ask Brett Farve, Bobby Hebert, Joe Fergusen, I am not go8ng to try or spell every quarterback that was under evaluated. Brees! Get a life and GTFA.

Would people that are saying he sucks put a bit of info with their deragatory comments. Something that shows that you know what the heck you are talking about. Like his arm strength sucks. Something. When you post he sucks all I get out of it is this: I have never heard anything about him... therefore he sucks.

What do we know about him other than his scholarship crap in hs. How does he perform in practice? Does he know the playbook? Scrambler?

Don't forget when he was invited in as a walk on we did have 4 QB's on schollies.... Now we have 2, and i think we all assume BB or TC will get ZL's scholly. I would venture to guess that TC would get it since he's stuck with the program, and never complained about anything throughout all our QB woes the past couple years. Seems as if he knows his place on the team, and has played his role in doing whatever he can do to help the team to get better. Now, on to BB... how can any of us pass judgment on a guy who just stepped foot on campus? Like it's been said in this thread many times, this kid bleeds p&g. How do any of us know that he hasn't been studying the playbook, putting the extra work in to improve on what the coaches think he needs to? He will RS this year, barring catastrophic situations. Alot of people on the Recruiting Board think Zach Oliver or Stevie Douglas to be offered now that we lost ZL, but neither of them have even been offered an invited walk on. Let's just calm down and give BB a shot before we completely write him off.

Who are to put a cap on this kids career. I am not saying he will ever play a snap for LSU but the kid is good enough to at least put on the P&G. It is ignorant douchebags like you who give LSU fans a bad name. You dont know anymore than any other jackleg on this board about recruiting so back off and let the kid decide his future not you.

please tell me how this kid sucks? He was a 3 star with only a few offers... bring up any memories?? How about the true freshman cornerback we have right now that was a three star and only had one bcs offer that came late thats being mentioned as a stud by Patrick Peterson and co. . Stars and ratings dont mean jack ask quinton johnson and a guy named jacob hester (both 2 stars) Bailey has two more years before he even gets looked at as playing, a bunch of chicken littles around here acting like the sky is falling every ten seconds. Sorry just my two cents
