Copeland could make a lot of teams' players quit tackling, but I'm sorry, not Bama. Bama is like LSU in that they thrive on hard-hitting defense.

See that the LSU fans are already huddled up in the fetal position now. Copeland will lay out a few corners and linebackers when Ford stretches the field. If Miles let's the faster/shiftier backs do their thing we win. Also some Ware, Shep, Ford speed option plays will work great. IMO Miles cracks open a mobile QB in this game.

How about stepping on a field without pads? I mean...Look at it from our point of view. Last year team was better. Offensively and Defensively.

Barret Jones said this specifically "We are going to New Orleans, their back yard to restore order!"
If you need an explanation, that mean that putting Alabama back on top in a winning fashion and making sure LSU stay at the bottom where they belong.
Well guess what? All month long Alabama talked trash and came 1/9. They backed it up, not only did they backed it up they show that we didn't even deserve to be on the same field as they were.
Alabama newspaper headline the next day? "Order Restored!"
Now the biggest game our of team last year and people talking trash leading up to the game did NOT motivate our team. Then looking at how we have played thus far... What make you think it would be any different?
Right now the entire Bama team could talk trash and I still would give the edge to Bama because of what they did on our home turf last year.
I wanted , hoped , felt that LSU needed to come out this year playing like a team possess and out for revenge. We didn't get that, instead we got LSU 2010 inept offensive attitude and a very young Defense.
We fricked.

With all due respect, copeland hasn't faced a defense that hits like Alabama. That defense may be scared of a few things, probably snakes and ghosts, but contact gets their dick hard.
Copeland said last year after 11/5 that alabama was the team that manned up and hit him in the hole. Fear isn't in their vocabulary, as I'm sure it's not in copelands either

So very tru. Remember how pissed the UA players were last year. They hit harder and played like an NFL caliber team in January. LSU players are pissed right now. Copeland is faster, stronger and lighter this year. It will be a great game no doubt. But don't think this upcoming game is played on 1/9/2012. From what I hear, you have never seen an LSU team this motivated for 1 game. I pray they live up to their words.
