re: Who do you guys think developed Burrow?

It’s been said before that in the off season, Burrow sought out coaching from different folks in the know. Not sure WHO gets that credit for his drastic development. Probably several guys.
I believe the Manning Camp had some influence too. Also, he had training on passing techniques learning to use more torque from the lower body. Similar to a golf swing. Obviously, his zip on the ball improved big time. Accuracy is off the charts.
Would be sweet to see Brennan get the same mentoring...from all those who helped Burrow.

Wasn’t he showing signs of greatness at the end of last year?

All past coaches and this offense that he knew so well

What is he supposed to say?
A more general statement than specifically praising E.

NVM, I forgot who I'm responding to for a sec.

E was actually holding him back, not developing him. He doesn’t deserve any credit
Brady did a brilliant job of installing it. And the LSU receivers (WRs, RBs, TEs)worked like NFL pros making the new scheme as solid as it now is.

He went to a camp run by former major league pitcher Tom House between seasons to get some mechanics worked out.

Burrow himself said that he would've thought you were crazy if back then you would've told him that we'd see the offense we're seeing now.
He's obviously implying that Brady's been the difference. This type of offense wasn't even a possibility in his mind before Brady got here.

Perfect storm. At the end of the Joe Burrow did!

Joe Burrow is a fighter pilot. They had him driving a stone age ox cart last year.
O & E got Joe the new ride they promised him in May of 18. Took a year to put it all together. Brady was a huge help, but it wasn't all Brady.

Okay but think of it like this we ran RPOs last year. We weren’t a spread offense. But we have had flashes of what we wanted to do. And E told O we were going to spread we brought Brady in for the concepts and better RPOs if and granted better routes for the receivers. Not saying E is the best OC but we would’ve had a 2 loses last year if it wasn’t for the refs in the A&M game, with an average burrow as people said. I think E deserves credit.

Pretty accurate. Watching the 5 minute film to promote Joe for the Heisman one of his coaches said he was running a two slot spread offense in the 6th grade. He's had lots of help but put in the work. Joe developed Joe.

I think it is just Joe himself.. The dude has put in a ton of work with his receivers and in the film room. He has one online class and the rest of his time is with the team and coaches working toward perfection...

quote:Who developed Burrow? Burrow did. Between the offseason work developing chemistry with the wide receivers and all of the extra time he has spends in the film room, Burrrow is most responsible.
E or Brady?
Why wonder if it is more E or Brady? Who cares? Don't feed the trolls.
