However I would like to see Arkansas win so that there's a possibility that CBS will pick Arkansas/S. Carolina for their 2:30 game instead of LSU/Bama.
that would be great if that would happen.

Beating an undefeated Auburn team gives us the best chance to start jumping other teams in polls. If we want a shot at a NC, then we need to start jumping teams with signature wins over top 10 teams.

but I think we just need to focus on winning games and we should be ok
It really doesn't matter what the fans focus on.

You can say it, you hope Cam gets hurt against Arky?
but not too bad, he needs to beat Alabama later this season.

Auburn to win after a physically tolling game so they will be nice and beaten up (but still undefeated) when LSU plays them (assuming LSU gets it done against McNeese).

Probably won't happen though. Unless some weird shite happens and Bama comes in with a few losses and LSU comes in with a few losses.

Funny how most here seem to think LSU needs to beat an undefeated Auburn to get respect. All they really have to do is win all their games and they'll be there at the top at the end. Thats it.

keep in mind-since Bama lost to an Eastern division team, they will have the tie breaker if them, auburn, and us all finish with 1 loss.

Two-team tie-breaker procedure
1. Head-to-head competition between the two tied teams.
2. Records of the tied teams within the division.
3. Head-to-head competition vs. the team within the division with the best overall record (divisional and non-divisional) Conference record and proceeding through the division. Multiple ties within the division will be broken from first to last.
4. Overall record vs. all non-divisional opponents.
5. Combined record vs. all common non-divisional teams.
6. Record vs. common non-divisional team with the best overall Conference (divisional and non-divisional) record and proceeding through other common non-divisional teams based on their order of finish within their division.
7. The tied team with the highest ranking in the Bowl Championship Series Standings following the last weekend of regular-season games shall be the divisional representative in the SEC Championship Game.
Three or more-team procedure
1. (Once the tie has been reduced to two teams, go to the two-team tie-breaker format.)
2. Combined head-to-head record among the tied teams.
3. Record of the tied teams within the division.
4. Head-to-head competition vs. the team within the division with the best overall (divisional and non-divisional) Conference record and proceeding through the division. Multiple ties within the division will be broken from first to last.
5. Overall record vs. non-division teams.

7. Record vs. common non-divisional team with the best overall Conference (divisional and non-divisional) record and proceeding through other common non-divisional teams based on their order of finish within their division.
8. The tied team with the highest ranking in the Bowl Championship Series Standings following the last weekend of regular-season games shall be the divisional representative in the SEC Championship Game, unless the second of the tied teams is ranked within five-or-fewer places of the highest ranked tied team. In this case, the head-to-head results of the top two ranked tied teams shall determine the representative in the SEC Championship Game.

I'll probably root for Arkansas...but I'm just happy that at the end of the day, one of these teams will have a loss or maybe 2 in Arky's case.

This. Ark's record or SOS is of no consequence if the Tigers beat AU and Bama. We need AU to kill Arkansas and move up to the top 5 then we come in an shut Newton down, win the game and get ready for the bye week and Bama.
Texas A/M gave Arky a game, we shouldn't have much of a problem beating them if we just play our game.

Best to have all our opponents with one loss.
If we play the Newtons when they are undefeated, they will be able to play for the national championship, that game.
GLORY!
If we play Aubies and Ark when they already have one loss they are just hoping to create a 2 or 3 way tie for the SEC west.
weaker juice.

This.
...i don't recall a computer ever saying, "wow, man, LSU beat an undefeated Auburn team? Maybe I should help them out in the rankings"
...and i work with computers everyday...

Auburn.
I would like the chance to win the West on one of the last 2 home games, rather than having to go on the road for it.
And we need to beat an undefeated team to help wash away this "overrated and lucky" stigma.

i predicted this a few days ago. we are charmed this season. cam gets "dinged up" this weekend and either sits out a week or plays hurt and is very ineffective next weekend
