That means you are losing three conference games a year. $4 million and just winning 9 games doesn't cut it.3 losses means no seccg . Not good. Again who do we bring in???????

6 wins a year gets you to a bowl. If you're not beating Alabama, you're not playing in the SEC Champ, and if you're not in that, then you're not playing for a national championship.

Beyond that, what in the world difference does it make to win 10 games and go to a bowl vs winning 6 games and going to a bowl, when your coach is paid $4 million a year?

This isn't true

LSU won a ship in 1959 and 2004 that's over 100 year history, Les has been at LSU for 11 years and we have a ship in 2007 and played for another one in 2011. He has brought a expectation never ever seen in Baton Rouge.

I am not as upset with the losses but I am upset with how we are losing. We are getting totally dominated at the line of scrimmage. It's not even close. That is my concern.

Your absolutely right. And he's not living up to the expectation HE set forth

He's .500 in his last 3.5 seasons. Will probably lose another Next week to drop below

He makes 4 million a year. It's unacceptable.

No winning 11-12 games per year means you are competing for championships. Winning 10 games mean you are coming up short. It sorta like a consolation prize.

This years team is young, both lines need weight room work and QB is just not good. Hard to win every game with that going on. With LSU players leaving early every year it's tuff to keep the product at a championship level unless you are Alabama, just another fact.

Was LSU young last year?

What will the excuse be next year? It's been a "young" team for 4 years.

To not have that team ready to play last night was completely unacceptable. You still had a chance to play for a lot and maybe more if some teams got upset over the last three weeks. I just don't think players respect Miles as their coach anymore. They respect him as a man and mentor but are very undisciplined every single game. There has been very little improvement over the course of the year and that sends red flags. We see this just about every year for Miles now, not much improvement throughout the year. You should have lit a fire under those players asses after the Bama loss but instead you get dominated yet again at home at night in Tiger Stadium. Absolutely inexcusable!

So just keep him here forever right.

this means 4-4 or 5-3 in sec play, this should not be acceptable

Fixed

- Should never get blown out by Arkansas in back to back years
- Should never lose to Alabama (who should be our equal) 5 years in a row
- Should never go 8-5 and lose the Music City Bowl
- Should never be dead last in the country in any statistical category
- Should never be hamstrung by your offense when you consistently recruit elite talent
- Should never be unable to develop the QB when he is surrounded by said elite talent

How's that for expectations?

start strong then piss all over ourselves come november. go to a bowl & look unprepared - lose. Pretty much been our MO the past few seasons. Doesnt really do much to get you fired up if you know whats gonna happen every season.

to all the people using the "young" excuse.....this IS college!Players are only here 4 years tops!! in todays game a jr is just as likely to go pro as to stay. Adjust! They HAVE to stay 3 years.....not like they're one & done!! Are we running lou teppers defense that takes 5 years to master?!?!

That's my point when you get top high school rivals players like that your team never get's old they leave for the NFL. Alabama handles it better because they get players a notch higher than anyone else at this time.

All these kids are young and it's always some crap excuse. I guess if we sign 10 5 stars players and still lose to BAMA then it would be that we need more role players to complement those stars. Miles has surrounded himself with a staff that shouldn't make excuses. Hell why don't we just hope Sean Payton gets fired

spekhead.....i guess im not sure what you are trying to say? Is it that bama just has so many more/better players that the ones that leave early dont hurt? Or do their coaches just do a better job of re-recruiting them to stay one more year?

I think if you have something to come back for- its easier to get them to stay. i.e....playing for sec title/NC. seems like bama can dangle this carrot to their players but not so much for lsu. Almost like our guys cant get out of here fast enough.
