.Is LSU ready to give up it's pro style, play action passing heritage?

why would they have to give up a pro style PA offense???

that's what cam has always run! 3-4 WR's, with a pass catching TE!

So how then how was he able to do it from the sidelines in the NFL for years, if Miles says its limits his ability in the college game?

agreed. clearly it's not working with him up in the booth and his young QB's rattled on the field looking lost on the sidelines. he should be down there teaching, engaged with them before, during, and after each play/series.

Can we put Sean Patterson in the booth, and put Cam on the sideline? We need someone in the booth to see the field, but we definitely need someone on the field to settle the young QBs.

We ran in 36 times to 24 passes. And that's just attempts, not called pass plays. That's 51-49 ratio. But you guys can believe what you want to believe.

Isn't that a 3:2 ratio or specifically 60-40 run vs pass?

got to change something. get out of their comfort zones. Cam doesn't have a 5th year senior under center. he has two green qb's.

One of the reasons Cam was fired from the Ravens is Harbough thought he was calling too many pass plays. You figure it out.

A fan made photo from Cam's Baltimore days:

Les Miles is heavily involved in the offensive game plan every week, but I think Cam calls the plays

I believe the OC for LSU calls the plays within the game plan agreed upon with the HC.
We have a winner here folks...
If Les does not like the play, it doesn't get on the play sheet...

+1 And I have it from someone I trust. I don't care what everyone else thinks. Miles takes the blame away from his coaches. Always has.

Miles also mentioned that he was considering bringing offensive coordinator Cam Cameron to the sidelines, but said it could limit the play calling.

How would it limit playcalling? he's been on the sidelines calling plays in the NFL for years

In the NFL, you aren't limited in the number of coaches. So, Cam could easily have had people in the booth communicating with him throughout the game.

in College, you'd have to put someone up there who may not be as qualified, and more importantly, who has other duties on the sideline currently.

I still think the move needs to be made. Seeing Harris sit on the bench between sidelines with nobody talking to him, calming him, coaching him on what's going on is a much bigger issue.

So LSU should sling the ball around like the Saints do? It seems to be working for them.
