I use to like Musburger in the 80s-90s but can't stand him anymore. He tries too hard to make everything too dramatic. He inserts himself as part of the story line when he shouldn't be.

Vern is terrible. I like the ESPN announces in general better than listening to Vern. CBS games also suck because they can't seem to play one in less than 4 hours with all the commercials.

I enjoy Musburger's enthusiasm and herbie is great. The guy knows alot and you can tell he puts his time in as an analyst. Most national guys miss the big picture or harp on insignificant ones.

Musburger and Fowler. Patrick is the one in my opinion that tries to overstate and over-dramatize every play or stat. I hate when he does games.

Ron Franklin, I agree is the best. He was pretty neutral in most games, but I sensed he was always more pro-LSU especially after he narrated that 100 years of LSU football special for us back in 1994 I believe.

"LSU needs the 45 yard line to keep this drive going."

Ron Franklin did the '97 UF game, so he's cool with me for life. Musberger pissed me off during the '07 VaTech game. Every time Herbie gave LSU any kinda respect, Musberger found a way to compliment USC. But then, his knowledge of history during that game (The King Fish) was awesome. But I still like the Saturday Night Patrick/Blackledge duo the most.
